Lawton, OK - The 2020 outdoor race season got started for Wyatt Yore at familiar track, yet in an unfamiliar class. Yore, the defending track champion at Boss Speedway in the Hot Wheels class, has moved into the Junior 1 division for this season. On Friday March 6th, Wyatt finished second place in his heat race followed with being credited with 7th in the feature. Moving on to Saturday March 7th, Wyatt was once again in second place in his heat race and spun out in turn two. He ended up 4th in that heat race and claimed 5th in the feature.
This season will certainly start off with several weeks of learning the new class, which means figuring out how to help the car handle at the increased speed and Wyatt adjusting to the speed as well.
Wyatt will race weekly at Boss Speedway (Friday nights), and will race occasional events at other tracks on Saturday's in Oklahoma and Texas.
